Description: “Split Second Chronograph” because the main use is to measure two separate times. Use in the Olympic Games. This chronograph is part of the Olympic series of chronographs in the second half of the 60 ‘(typical for non-slip black paint that covers them). This chronograph Omega was used in the Mexico Olympics in 1968, Munich 1972 and Montreal 1976. Scales leads 30 “(white outer) and 60” (interior black) with the possibility of measuring fractions of up to 1/10 second (thanks to the towering alternances). The upper subdial is a storage tank or timer (to 30). The caliber base is an Omega (Lemania) 53.7 CR 1/10 of 24 lines. The reserve of this movement is 14 hours. According to information from the catalogs of the time, its uses for swimming, running, skiing, horseback riding, biking, and even some scientific applications such as sound recordings, physics, astronomy, etc.
