Description: Limited Edition 2008. The body is made of satinwood India specially selected. Up to 84 boxes of individually crafted satinwood were necessary to get the original design of this striking piece spikelet. No two equal segments and each must be placed in a specific position to generate smooth transitions. Then the body goes through a laborious process with successive stages of varnishing and polishing. The sample of the world’s smallest parquet resides on the surface of a fountain pen and a symbol of perfection. Worked with absolute precision, the 2008 Special Edition fountain pen combines stunning aesthetics with an unusual softness. The interaction between the vibrant warmth of satinwood and the warmth of the platinum-plated metal parts so fascinated by his attention to detail as its exclusive finish. A work of art culminating in his fragment faceted citrine set in the top of the cap. Your bicolor gold nib 18K is hand made.
